Herbal Medicine Making

This class is an introduction to herbal medicine making. We will focus on making tinctures and herbal infused oils. Spend a day playing and listening to the plants – and come home with a treasure chest full of awesome green medicine.

We will start off the day with a hands on plant walk . I will take you around the Center on a magical plant tour revealing to you 25 + everyday herbs that are probably growing right around you.

We will play some plant games. Get to know the plants through multi-sensory connections. And you will receive direct intuitive input on the medicines for you to make.

In addition, we will go over all the basics you will need to make and be able to use your own tinctures and herbal infused oils.

You will come away with a real appreciation of herbal medicine as the medicine of the People.

• 1 quart of 100 proof vodka – inexpensive brands are fine
• 1 quart of organic olive oil
• 2-3 pint glass jars with lids (jelly jars work good)
• 2-3 quart glass jar with lids (canning jars work good)
• Scotch tape
• Marker
• Stick on labels (they need to stick onto the glass jars)
• Scissors
• We will be outside all day so bring whatever you need to feel comfortable, e.g. water, sunscreen, sunhat, etc.
• We have plenty of chairs so you don’t need to bring anything to sit on.

Lunch: This is an all-day class and we will be taking a lunch break. You are welcome to bring your own bag lunch and enjoy lunch in our gazebo or arbor. If you prefer there are several near-by restaurants.

Rain: This is an outside class. If it rains, we will need to reschedule. If it is raining and we need to reschedule class, I will call you by 9:30 AM to notify you. The Fine Print

Withdrawals and Refunds – once a payment has been made there are no refunds given for any payments.

There are no refunds for missed classes. If you miss a class you have the option of applying your fee to another CTL class, workshop, training, retreat, or other event.

Accommodations - For those traveling from outside the local area, a reasonably priced motel and several nice Bed and Breakfast Inns are nearby. I can email a list to you upon request.

Supplies – you are responsible for the cost of any supplies needed for a class unless stated otherwise.

Curriculum – the stated curriculum is a guide and is subject to change without notice.

Private Sessions – you are welcome to arrange an additional private session with me for individual instruction, a healing session, meditative journey, health concern, intuitive session, or a life coaching session. Fees range from $85 to $215 depending on the nature of the session.
